Dr. Flora A. Claybrook, ThD

Dr. Flora Claybrook is an Associate Minister at the Morning Star MB Church, Humboldt, TN where her mission is to win souls for Christ. She loves teaching and preaching the Word of God. She earned her Doctorate of Theology degree from Adullum Bible College, Jackson, TN, 2019. Dr. Claybrook is a retired Family Nurse Practitioner and published author of the book entitled: Church Leadership Challenges in the 21 st Century (2020). She is the proud mother of four children, grandmother of two and great grandmother of one.

Dr. Charles Reese
Faculty

Dr. Reese is a life-long Mississippian and graduate of Mississippi State University, University of Mississippi and earned his Doctorate from Midwest college of Theology. He currently serving as Elder/Director of Education at Greater Community Temple COGIC church in Memphis, TN. Dr. Reese has preached the gospel of Jesus Christ for over 29 years. He is a God-fearing instructional leader, educator, and advocate for children and families. He is known as a trailblazer and community activist for his community. Dr. Reese currently works with Shelby County Schools as the Principal of Shrine School and he has been recognized as a Distinguished School Leader. Currently he is recognized as an outstanding Leader to Learn From for aspiring principals and novice principals. He is the Founder and CEO of Executive Consulting Firm.

Jay Boyd, BRE in Pastoral Ministry

Born in Brownsville, TN Jay Boyd gave his life to the Lord at the age of 13 and immediately accepted a call to the ministry of preaching. In 2017 he completed a degree of Pastoral Ministry with honors from the accredited Heritage Bible College of Dunn, NC. In 2022 he completed a certificate of Business Administration and Management from the accredited Joseph Business School of Chicago Illinois.

He currently serves full time as a Spirit filled revivalist, Bible teacher, conference speaker, church consultant (US & Europe), ministry leader & entrepreneur. Most recently, He is the new Executive Director of R.I.S.E., an Outreach & Ministry Training Center in Haywood County, TN where the mission is to Reach the lost, Inspire the Believer, Send them Out, & Equip them as they Go.

Dr. Darryl O. Griffin

In 1984, he heard the Lord speak to him in audible voice, “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature”. From that moment until now, the burden of lost souls has been his purpose and responsibility of spreading the gospel message far and near. He holds a Masters of Christian Counseling (Family Counseling & Leadership emphasis) from Midwest Seminary of Bible Theology and a Doctor of Divinity from St. Thomas University, Jacksonville FL.

Dr. Darryl O. Griffin is known as a relevant expositor of God’s word in evangelical circles and is unique for having the ability to communicate complex theological truths through simplistic yet profound, revelation.

Darryl is a born polymath. As the founder of Darryl O. Griffin Ministries, he conducts leadership seminars, he’s a conference speaker, and senior pastor of Believer’s Choice Life Church, in Memphis TN.

Darryl is historically the first African American pastor to serve on the staff of Bellevue Baptist Church, Cordova, TN - a church of over 15,000 members. There he serves in the Pastoral Care/Benevolence Department. He is a member of the Mid-South Baptist Association Administrative Leadership Council, Mid-South Urban Coalition, IMPACT Fellowship (a fellowship of churches) and currently serving under the leadership of Bishop Derrick W. Hutchins with Georgia Cosmopolitan Fellowship of Churches. Many, new and seasoned pastors alike regard him as a pastor of pastors.

He has authored three books, “Faith Developed in the Darkroom”, “Darkroom Faith Workouts” a 30-day devotional, and “The Pecking Order in Relationships.” He is committed to sharing God’s Word through practical messages that empower individuals to fulfill their destiny.

He has been married to Lenora C. Griffin for over 34 years, who labors with her husband and shares with him God’s purpose, vision, and conquest in ministry. They are the proud parents of Davien Jaree who walks alongside them in ministry.

Bishop Jewel R. Withers, Jr.

Bishop Jewel R. Withers, Jr. was born August 29, 1950 in Little Rock, AR to Elder Jewel Withers, Sr. and Mrs. Erma L. Withers.

He received his formative education through the Little Rock and North Little Rock Public School System. He graduated from the Horace Mann High school in 1968. He attended Little Rock University, 1968 – 1970. He entered Jackson Theological Seminary in 1970 and graduated with a Masters in Ecclesiastical Studies in 1985. He also completed course of studies from Boyce Bible School (Southwestern Theological Seminary) in 1986 with a Certificated in Ministry.

Elder Withers acknowledged Christ as his Savior in 1964 under the leadership of his father, Elder Jewel Withers, Sr. He received the Baptism in the Holy Ghost in 1965. He acknowledged his call to preach in the summer of 1967 during a revival conducted by Evangelist Lark Cauley at the then Ebenezer Church Of God In Christ. Bishop Leato Thomas Walker, Jurisdictional Bishop of Arkansas First Jurisdiction, ordained him an Elder in the Church Of God In Christ in September 1969. Bishop L. T. Walker appointed Elder Withers Jurisdictional Secretary in 1977. His appointment as pastor of the historic Williams Temple Church Of God In Christ was March 26, 1978. Elder Withers’ service of installation was June 2, 1978.

In 2009, after the demise of Bishop Leato Thomas Walker, Sr. on February 15, 2009, Elder Withers aspired for the Jurisdictional Bishopric of Arkansas First Jurisdiction. On August 8, 2009, after a polling of the pastors of the Jurisdiction Bishop Charles E. Blake selected as the designee to succeed Bishop Leato Thomas Walker. It was in the 102nd Holy Convocation of the Church Of God In Christ in Memphis, TN that Elder Withers was Consecrated Jurisdictional Bishop of Arkansas First Jurisdiction (November 9, 2009).

After overseeing the Holy Temple Cathedral Church Of God In Christ for 18 months, Bishop Donne L. Lindsey, interim Bishop of Arkansas First Jurisdiction until Bishop Withers consecration, determined to resign as pastor of the church at which time Bishop Withers assumed the Pastorate on the first Sunday in October (October 3, 2010).

Bishop Withers ultimate desire is to please God as a pastor, a calling not taken lightly by this servant of God. He does everything to maintain the priorities of his calling.

Bishop Withers is the proud husband of Joyce A. Withers for forty - eight (52) years. Together they are the parents of three children, two (2) sons Jewel III (Rosalie) and Jeremy (Glencora), one (1) daughter Teresa (LaDerrick) Lee. They also have six (6) grandchildren: Jewel IV, Angel, Kennedi, Jonathan, Jared and Olivia.

Christy Conway
Faculty

Christy Conway is a Forrest City, Arkansas native. Upon graduation from Forrest City High School in year 2000, she attended Arkansas State University, where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Social Work. Christy started her career working with marginalized children and families. Her reach has far extended to working with the most vulnerable populations as she is also a CCAR Certified Recovery Coach specializing in whole life recovery in Mental Health and Substance Abuse. Conway entered the preaching ministry in 2008. She served faithfully in licensure classes and is and ordained Elder in her local assembly.

Elder Conway serves faithfully under the teaching and training of her pastor, Bishop Adrian Rodgers of Fullness of Joy Ministries in Jonesboro, AR. She is currently the Collaborative Student Ministries Director of Fullness of Joy. She also serves as a member of the Intercessory Prayer Team, a member of the ministerial & leadership staff, a member of the Fullness of Joy music ministry, and she serves as an adjutant for her trusted mentor Dr. Sheila Griggs- Lacy. Elder Conway has an amazing testimony of deliverance and freedom. It is her desire to see the people of God walk in the liberty and transparency that God has called us to. She is passionate and bold about the things of the God and the WORD of God, preaching and teaching to all that will hear, and seeing the fruition of God’s manifestation in their lives. Having drawn from her own experiences of walking away from God, Elder Conway uses this as her leverage to relate to those that are fragmented and uses those experiences to bring wholeness to their lives.

Professionally, she is employed by Mid-South Health Systems of ARISA HEALTH in Jonesboro Ar. She is a mentor and coach to many. Christy is the proud wife of Elder Christopher Conway, of Jonesboro, AR who also serves in ministry with her. They are the parents of two beautiful daughters, Christen Loren and Nyla Christa.

Dr. Willie King

Pastor Willie L. King Jr. is a multi-gifted, motivational speaker with the mind of Christ, the heart of a pastor and the spirit of an evangelist. God has poured His spirit into Pastor King, placing a divine sanction upon him allowing him to tread over the enemy. The anointing that rests upon his life has impacted the lives of many.

Apostle King is a native of Gainesville. He was born in Archer, FL. At the age of 19, he met and married his wife Pastor Linda. Through this union God has blessed them with wonderful sons Willie L. King III, Antonio C. King (wife, Natalie Williams King.) The delight of Apostle King’s life is his eight beautiful grandchildren. Granddaughters Cierra, Elantra, Lamonica, Annesha, Ariel Word and his three grandsons Antonio II, William, and Angelo King.

Apostle King gave his life to the Lord at the age of 20. He has pastored and served in the following organizations: the Church of God in Christ, the Missionary Baptist Church and the Full Gospel Baptist Church. He was licensed as a minister in 1985 and attended bible school at Henry Williams Institute in Gainesville, FL. He was ordained as an Elder in each of these organizations. In May 1997, Apostle King was ordained by Without Walls International Ministry in Tampa, Florida by Randy and Paula White. In November 1999, he was ordained by Right Connection Evangelistic Association in Miami, Florida by Bishop Isaiah and Dr. Gloria Williams. In April 2006, he received his Doctorate of Divinity from James Dussault University and Christian Counselor license from World Council of Postsecondary and Religious Education (the World Natural Health Organization, Inc.). In 2013, Apostle King received the Episcopal assignment of First Administrative Assistant in the Fellowship of Covenant Churches, Jackson, Tennessee, by Apostle Barry T. Cheney. In 2018, Apostle King joined Global Dominion Covenant Fellowship and now serve as a Board Member. On the 20th day of May 2018, Apostle King graduated from Adullam Bible College, Gainesville, Florida with a Master’s Degree in Theology. On the 22nd day of May 2021, Apostle King graduated from Adullam Bible College with his Doctorate in Theology.

Apostle Willie L. King and his wife Pastor Linda A. King founded Showers of Blessings Harvest Center, Inc., a non-denominational church, on December 1, 1996, “Where the Impossible Is Possible.” As Senior Pastor, Showers of Blessings is a rapidly growing ministry.

Apostle King is especially thankful for the many testimonies from those who have been healed, delivered and set free. Through his ministry, there have been numerous testimonies of miracles, signs and wonders, such as people healed from HIV/AIDS, cancer and the restoration of hearing to those who were deaf. Apostle King’s greatest desire is to preach the Gospel, break generational curses, and help restore lost souls to Christ.
